2 weeks have gone by since the operation.. haha.. it seems like the focus of this post is still abt my toe..
So today i went for the appointment to check on how my toe was.. Skipped a lecture and a tutorial.. No big deal.. The appointment was at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.. I still find the name funny.. Tan Tock Seng..
Ok, so I was waiting, playing my PSP, then the nurse called my name.. And the doctor was the same person who operated on my toe.. She asked a few standard questions.. then she proceed to check on the toe..
Here's the thing.. Doctors are supposed to be gentle right, removing the bandage slowly and carefully? But what she did was she tried to remove it in a hurry.. but not like the waxing kind of hurry where you, one shot, pull the whole thing of.. like pfft!
So she did it in a bit of a rush cause doctors have a lot of patients to see to, and it's not suppose to hurt, but you know when time goes by, the bandage will stick to the skin and it hurts when she does that.. I let out a cry of pain or two then.. At that point, I thought to myself, *Hilman is a pussy, Hilman is a pussy, ha haha ha ha..* As if it help that my friends in school called me that..
So my toe is fine, the top is a bit macerated.. I was like "huh?" when my doctor first said it, but it means like soften or separate into parts by steeping in a liquid, ya, had to search the dict for that.. So now, I went to remove the stitches and the metal thing on my toe.. It was then during the removal, it was just one stitch.. (btw, I had to look up the word 'stitch'.. it goes to show i really miss my English teacher..)
And now, I have a bandage on my toe and I can't do sports for like a month, or more.. until my nail grows back..
Pictures? No, might be too gross.. For now, a song.. It's recommended by my sister, haha, so must listen! There is another version for this one, but i prefer this one..
